This course begins with an introduction to media sharing communities.
The course then walks you through creating an optimized Flickr account, optimizing your image uploads, and integrating Flickr, Instagram, and other image sharing sites with your social media presence.
The course also explores Flickr's awesome mobile app and many other popular mobile-first image sharing apps.
Upon satisfactorily completing the Online Instructor Supported Flikr and Image Communities Certificate program, students should be able to:
Identify the main features and settings of Flickr
Create an optimized image sharing profile on Flickr
Learn how to integrate Flickr images with a social media presence
Prepare an image sharing strategy for any type of business

Deltina Hay is the author of three books on social media, the mobile web, and search optimization. She developed the graduate, social media certificate program for Drury University; and her first book, The Social Media Survival Guide, is used as a text in colleges and universities, worldwide.
Deltina has been programming or developing for the Web for over 30 years. Her graduate education includes computer science, applied mathematics, numerical analysis, nonlinear dynamics, and psychology. Deltina presently serves as the Board Chair of the Independent Book Publishers Association.
